When you work in marketing for the pet/animal welfare industry, you expect to be involved with photos shoots and at events that feature cats, dogs and small critters.
When I was the ASPCA I had the unique experience of organizing a photo op for Lulu the Pig.
After her owner suffered a heart attack, Lulu alerted neighbors just in time for an ambulance to be called, saving the owner’s life. An award was presented to Lulu and the ceremony covered by CNN’s Jeannie Moos and other top media. Lulu made headlines from coast to coast that year and I was proud to be part of the media frenzy! ~ Patricia
