Paws PR is a specialized firm focused on pet product marketing, pet service marketing and nonprofit animal organizations and associations. We are seeking freelance publicists to join our team and help raise awareness of our clients via media relations. If you love pets and love to pitch the media—we want to talk to you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Compile media lists and research reporters and media outlets for targeted pitching
- Craft creative pitches and story ideas
- Draft press releases, background information and pitch letters
- Pitch the news media and coordinate interviews for clients
- Track pitching results in client update memos
Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of media placement success
- Genuine passion for working with and pitching the news media
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently, while also collaborating as a team member
- Passion for animal protection
